History

In 1993, John A. Stassi II, Walter C. Fowler, and Henry L. Masson founded CommCare® Corporation as a non-profit, charitable organization. Their goal was to provide quality care and assistance to the residents of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers.

CommCare® is committed to ongoing dedication of resources to continually improve the quality of care by investing in employees and their education, committing to technology and upgrading our centers. CommCare’s® charitable giving extends its focus and commitment into the communities it serves. We are committed to strengthening relationships within the local community by identifying areas of need among elders and building relationships through community outreach programs.

Our spacious, well-appointed center allows us to provide care in an environment that makes residents feel at home.

CommCare facilities operate in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulation, and codes. This includes, the Americans with Disabilities Act and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. CommCare facilities operate in compliance with other HHS regulations, including, but not be limited to, those regulations pertaining to nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (45 C.F.R. part 80); non discrimination on the basis of disability (45 C.F.R. part 84); non discrimination on the basis of age (45 C.F.R. part 91); protection of the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability (45 C.F.R. part 92); protection of human subjects of research (45 C.F.R part 46); fraud and abuse (42 C.F.R. part 455) and protection of individually identifiable health information (45 C.F.R. parts 160 and 164). These provisions cover all phases of patient care, including, but not limited to, admissions.
