Our Community

Situated on a spacious, tree-lined property adjacent to Holy Cross College on the West Bank of New Orleans, Our Lady of Wisdom Community Care Center comprises six households that surround a spacious New Orleans courtyard where residents can enjoy the outdoors and lush landscape. Each household has its own living area with libraries, large screen televisions and dining areas as well as their own nursing support. While the households have both private and semi-private rooms, the design of the semi-private rooms, with the spacious bath between, makes them feel like private rooms.

Vaulted ceilings, arched windows and stained-glass details illuminate and add ambiance. The auditorium and Tuscany Hall can accommodate large events and gatherings, while the salon and tranquil courtyard offer space for reflection and relaxation. Our Lady of Wisdom’s chapel is truly a remarkable space to experience, but it is all these features, combined with our operational philosophy of person-centered care that makes Our Lady of Wisdom Community Care Center unique.
