To Everyone that touched our life-

There are no words that can fully express our gratitude for the care and compassion and kindness the the Notre Dame team showed us from the very beginning to the very end of care.

The admitting nurse Kim and the dedicated nurses who visited us- Michelle and Eric. To the Chaplain Jay, social worker, Christie… Your guidance helped us navigate the emotional and practical challenges.

But most of all, we want to thank the two ANGELS who became a part of our family over the course of 14 weeks. Hospice nurse Hannah and the Aide Carissa. You cared for my Melanie as if she was your own Mother- with tenderness, dignity and unwavering devotion. In a role that is often marked by sorrow, you all brought light. Your presence was never just clinical- It was heartfelt and healing.

Hospice work is not easy. The end result is never pleasant. Yet, Hannah and Carissa made each visit something to look forward to. They brought peace into our home and into Melanie’s final days. A gift we will never forget.
