Resident Centered
The Resident Council and committees are a guiding force in the offering of social events, religious services, menus, activities and special interests. Among Chateau de Notre Dame’s most popular amenities are the salon, socials, religious services and entertainment.
Residents and their guests may enjoy concerts or a jazz brunch in the traditional New Orleans Courtyard. Chateau’s Studio hosts variety of arts, crafts, games and classes. Meet for coffee and gossip at the Coffee Klatch. The salon provides a convenient option for beauty and barber services. With its high ceilings and magnificent stained-glass window, the chapel provides an atmosphere of. reverence, worship and reflection.
Guided by the Residents’ Dining Committee, our dining experience offers seasonal menu selections overseen by a chef. Social gatherings are complimented by featured hors’d’oeuvres and craft beverages.
Personalized Service, Assistance and Care
As part of the move in process, an assessment is completed with the resident and/or family to identify the individual’s needs and level of assistance required. Our clinical team will create a customized plan to provide the services to support successful aging and quality of life. Service plans may provide support ranging from housekeeping and laundry, health and wellness support to more extensive assistance with activities of daily living.
Tiered Plan Options
Tier One is an ideal option for residents who wish to enjoy senior years without the worries of home ownership. Floor plan options include studio/efficiency, one bedroom and two-bedroom unfurnished apartments, while support services include weekly housekeeping and laundry, transportation to medical appointments, emergency call boxes and elegant dining up to three times a day. This maintenance-free and a service-rich environment are hallmarks that help residents enjoy a fulfilling, independent lifestyle.
When life requires assistance with daily living activities, Tier Two facilitates independence with the same floor plan options, amenities and dining experience of Tier One, but with more extensive assistance activities of daily living and health and wellness monitoring by nurses.

Continuing Care on Campus
Should the need arise, Chateau de Notre Dame’s campus also offers short-term nursing and rehabilitation should residents need rehabilitation required to return to their lives after an illness or injury. Should 24-hour custodial care become necessary residents may transfer to the nursing center on the same campus.
